Had at Dry County Brewery(2.2018), slight heat, mild bitterness, full-bodied with vanilla and chocolate flavors. Dark in appearance with a thick tan head. 11.7% ABV

Tried this at the Dry County Brewery and it is one demonic Mexican-Style Imperial Stout brewed with habanero peppers, Mexican vanilla, and chocolate. While the habaneros are clearly present it is truly the perfect blend not to hot but not to mild. The other flavors of vanilla and chocolate combine with the habaneros to make this a beautifully complex beer that sports a nice kick coming in at an ABV of 11.5%.

Bad Hombre is aptly named as it has a perfect amount of habanero peppers. The habaneros meld very nicely with the vanilla and chocolate malts to create a fantastic layering off flavors that mask the 11.5% ABV. I would emphasize that I don't like overly hot beers and the habaneros in Bad Hombre are not overpowering but just right for my taste. I definitely recommend this stout to anyone who likes a full bodied beer.

Shared crowler from the brewery.
Very full body.
Moderate heat from the jalapeno lingers on after the ale is gone. Jalapenos are very faint in the aroma. Mildly bitter.
