12oz can picked up at the brewery's 1st anniversary bash 9/9/17. Served in a Dry County snifter. Enjoyed 9/11/17.
Pours hazy orange with a finger and a half cap of pale froth. The fluff lingers for a bit before fading, leaving neither retention nor lace.
Smells of orange, grapefruit, melon, pineapple, vague berries and caramel.
The flavors are juicy and bold with an underlying dankness. Citrus, melon, pale stone fruit, faint blueberry, pine resin, floral, hint of bready sweetness and a respectable dollop of alcohol. Quite tasty.
Slightly oily, full feel with pleasantly restrained carbonation. The thick, fairly bitter finish is full of citrus, melon and dank hop oils.
Not sure why it took a full year for me to try anything from a brewery so close to home but they apparently know how to use some hops. I'll be keeping an eye out for more fron Dry County.

This is a beast of a beer and reminds me a little of Lagunitas's Waldo's Special Ale. As you would expect with a New England IPA this is a cloudy unfiltered IPA and has a wonderful orange hue. A finger of white head that persists and leaves some lace. Nice tropical fruit, pine and cannabis in the nose. Taste follows with just a little bit of alcohol in the taste. For such a big beer, it has a really nice mouth feel...not heavy or malty like you'd expect. Overall, a seriously delicious and buzzworthy beer.

New England-style Double IPA, made in celebration for their 1 year anniversary. Tried on tap. Smell was extremely fruity, with guava, citrus, and pineapple. Taste was the same, juicy and delicious. A great beer.
