We took our tried-and-true 5X Stout base recipe and doctored it up with not uno, not dos, but tres leches! We wanted everyone to be able to get a taste, so we opted for vegan and allergy-friendly dairy alternatives including oat, hemp, and coconut milks, then we added Mexican vanilla and strawberry and raspberry purees. Did we mention it's 17%? Do we even need to?

who knew that 3 vegan lactose blends could pack such a sweet wallop! Was familiar with the base 5X stout, but this puts a whole other twist to it!
Pours nearly flat, no head, lace or menacing gurgling around the fill line. Nose is sweet and confectionary, chocolates, caramels, coffee, cinnamon and chicory, again kind of funky milky aroma hovers above. Taste is a bit pungent but pleasing, nice clash of flavors to corroborate what the scent promised; re-reading the recipe, i suppose those berry/jelly flavors cut through in the mix as well. A lot to process! Nice tangy swallow with a little burn lingering on the tongue.
