Bought from the Hi Times Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa in the start of July.
Beer poured from a 12 oz brown bottle with a nice yellow label and no immediately obvious dating of the bottle
Beer pours into the glass with almost no head (a little bit of white heading) on top of an amber orange brew.
Aroma is fruity apple with a growing citrus sense of hops coming to the fore as the nose passes.
Taste is of your typical pale with with pale malt, biscuit and caramel approach with a touch of cattiness as the hops come through and finally start to take a hold of the final bite of the brew.
Overall a decent pale ale and surprisingly clean for a brew from a smaller brewery (aka it's in Northern SD and not LA County as well :) )

Medium amber color. Medium head. Aroma is sweet, bready and malty. Full-bodied amber. Malts are nutty, fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. It's a touch too sweet, but its smooth and well balanced. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
