Not a good sign when they pour Ales into chilled glasses. Being new to the area I'm still learning how the locals eat and drink but this place has OK beer and not much of a vibe.

A local, historic brewery, so it is worth visiting. The beer is solid and the food is decent. Start here then go to Here and Now BC for a fun brew night!

Long narrow bar room with a decidedly dive bar look. 6 house and 3 guest beers on tap. The black ipa I had was very good. Friendly bartender. I did not try the food.

Place was decent. The beer, unfortunately, was pretty terrible. The Horatio Allen was probably the best but not a beer I would order again. The pineapple mango coconut sour was drinkable as well. The Wet Hop Whirlwind was sour. I was told by the bartender that this "IPA is sour because it has Cluster hops and Cluster hops are sour." Having been a brewer at multiple breweries, I know this is absurd. Not the bartender's fault, they should be trained. Selection was an ok assortment but 3 beers were kicked. Ordered the fried pickles. Taste was decent but they were in a puddle of grease. Made a cast iron stomach churn. I won't be back. Sad to see.

Went on a Sunday afternoon at 2:00 and they were sold out of half their tap list. Also waited 15-20 minutes to get served because there isn't enough help.
Beers are...meh.
Cool place to hang out, though. TV's, games, ect. Plus the food is good. Typical brewery/pub type...ummm, actually, just as I was typing this the guy next to me ordered a hot dog and it came out burned.
Idk, not a great place.
