Poured from 12oz bottle into a dimpled mug.

Appearance: lightly hazy golden hue with a thin layer of frothy ivory foam. Less haze and more foam would be nice, but overall not bad.

Smell: sweet and malty with a little bit of corn aroma, hops are low in the mix and minty in nature. Decent enough.

Taste: quite sweet and maybe just a little bit sticky; hops are minty and perhaps a bit lemony. Not bad, and it's a reasonable take on a cream ale, but it's a bit too sweet for my taste.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: a pretty unremarkable cream ale. It's a bit on the sweet side, but some might find it quite enjoyable.

From a bomber, no date code, kept cold at the local Fred Myers. Light gold pour, some haze, light head and lacing. The malt-forward brew has a distinct sweetness and low hop presence. Not bad, but has a slightly heavy mouth-feel and low carbonation. A good go at a seldom-brewed style.

Bottle says it is creamy and smooth due to toasted wheat and flaked oats while being lightly hopped.
It is indeed smooth and creamy and lightly hopped, but strong on flavor and is a great sipping beer.

22oz bottle served in pub glass. Beer pours pale golden in color, slightly cloudy, and forms a small white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, like American Pils, maybe with some toasted wheat in there too. First thing I notice about the taste is actually the sharp, bright carbonation. And then a crispness which is unmistakably lager. But from a cream ale? And this has almost no residual sweetness, which I'd expect from a cream ale (though perhaps only bad ones?). Wheat flavor carries over towards the back of the palate. The creaminess of the oats is mitigated by the aggressive carbonation in this bottle. This is an all-American first cousin of Hefeweiss and American lager.

Part of Beervana Brewer's Box. 6 bottles each of 4 signature beers. 2 I already had 2 I had not.

Pours a pale gold color slight chill haze with many bubbles rising in the glass. Capped with a fizzy but resilient white head.

Smell is faint and nondescript. A wet grain aroma.

Taset is a sweet bread flavor up front, giving way to some very fruity citrus and soft fruit flavors. Oranges and pears mostly.

Mouthfeel is wet and slightly creamy or cloying. But very good.

Overall a nice warm weather brew. I would have it again.

12 oz bottle from a 6 pack. Purchased from Fred Meyer in N.Salem OR. $7.99 Pours a nice light gold colour with a handsome thick and creamy half inch head. Sweet biscuit malt aromas..Touch of oatmeal cereal. taste sweet oat cereal , touch of citrus hop and some green apple. Very nice mouth feel..smooth and the brewer has managed to make it somewhat creamy. Overall a very nice Cream Ale..need to be in cans!

12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.

Thin lacing on top, perfect clarity. Smells of fresh bread and cereal grains. Crisp and smooth enough with a little bit of body. Grainy with dry malty and cereal flavors. Modest hopping helps to balance. Hint of alcohol and more grainy dried grass in the finish. Easy drinking all around.

Surprisingly great beer here. Think an easy drinking cream ale in all its malty bready glory and mix it with a hopped up fruity pale ale and you have this beer. Well balanced and well made.

This is a pleasant, refreshing surprise. The aroma has doughy (yes, creamy) malts with a toasty edge. The flavor has adds a mild citrus juice over the dry, lightly toasted malts. Reminds me of Deschutes Twilight Ale. I'd drink another.
