Our modern take on an original American style Bridgeport Cream Ale is easy sippin' and full-flavored. The smooth, creamy backbone so unique to the Cream Ale style comes from generous doses of malted wheat and flaked oats. It's lightly hopped for maximum drinkability and finished with whole cone Mosaics in the hopjack to deliver a slightly fruity, sweet character. Hop and malt combine perfectly to bring you this smooth rollin' go-to session ale. 18 IBUs

Don't really remember this particular beer but I gave it a really good rating so must be better than average. Mosiac hops impart a nice mellow citrus flavor and being a cream ale, it turned out really good.
Just found a bottle sitting in a 12-pack box that is almost seven years old. Opened it and it foamed a bit. Had a strong alcohol aroma + a good roasted malt taste. Tasted like a 7-8% ABV beer, very good.

Bottle from Bridgeport's variety box:

Mosaic hops clash with the dull cream ale flavour profile. I'm not really sure what one hopes for in a hoppy cream ale, but perhaps this is proof the idea is a poor one. Subtle blueberry, stale corn, generic 2-row barley...these flavours don't mix well.

Hated 22oz bottle poured into 12oz tulip. Poured a lightly hazy yellow color, with about 1/4 inch of white head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.

The aroma was slightly sweet, with a slight grain scent, and very light amounts of hops showing.

Similar on the tongue, sweet, low hops, and a definite corn taste.

The body was medium-light crisp, and had a slightly sweet finish.

Drinkability was OK, but 12oz pour would have been enough. Overall, a decent enough brew, but, even though Mosaic ain't my favorite hop, this beer coulda used more. Try it or don't.
