I tried this at Mews Tavern in Rhode Island. It poured a cloudy yellow with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had hop hints that included some citrus flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with some fruit notes present. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

On the backs of several of the more popular hop varieties on the market, another collaborate effort IPA between Alltech and Western Kentucky University institutions, its the hops of Calypso, Apollo, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria that lands this ale somewhere between West Coast and New England flavor trends.
Cloudy with a translucent glow of a golden, amber, orange and peach array, the ale froths with a creamy eggshell lather. Floral on the nose, the beer simply abounds with citrus, herb and perfume, and with a sweetly scented malt accent. Bready, honey and pastry-like, the taste starts sweet yet supple.
Sweetness bounces from the middle palate swiftly and allows the hops to take firm control with a taste that leads with tangerine and nectarine. Under ripened fruits of lemon, lime, currant, gooseberry and mango add a supportive blend to aid the citrus and generate complexity. Herbal in its finish, tea leaf, bay, hemp and an overall rife chivy grassiness applies a peppery and dry resinous bitterness to the late palate.
Medium bodied and heavily hop tilted, the beer's creamy upstart trends dry, spicy and bitterness with the soft tannins seemingly of verbena, leaf and balsa to give the hops a spicy wood finish and a medium long linger of muddled fruit peels with hints of geranium in the mix.
