Stout with brown sugar and aged in bourbon barrels. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head that fades away quickly. Has a wine-like aroma. Taste is roasted malts and dark fruits but no real bourbon notes. Feel is in line with an imperial stout. Overall it's good but not somethig to seek out.

The color and head is real nice. Aroma not bad. Taste, to me has the hints of brown sugar, barrel and malt balance but it has a watered down feel, as a lot of Alltech beers do. Finish is slightly watery

This is by far the best thing Alltech has produced. Big, boozy, rich and almost sweet and smooth enough to be like a Bruery beer. I got hints of the brown sugar, but just barely.

Thoroughly enjoyed from the growler from Jungle Jim's Eastgate in
a snifter. This smooth brew pours a brown tinged opaque with a nice light head
of off white foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin light pool, and subtle light
lacing. Nose of brown sugars, coffee, light cocoa, and strong booze with touches
of raisins. Flavors far surpass the nose with smooth rich chocolate and light coffee
notes touched by bourbon that are not present in the nose till it warm significantly.
Light vanilla and bourbon mingle with raisin and finish warm and sweet. Excellent mouth
feel for such a strong brew; smooth as silk, rich, warm, full of the feel, and finishing with a
warm bourbon/ brown sugar finish. Overall a fantastic experience and one that blows the
foreign folks away with their "Effin and @uggin" named brews that lack character.
One of the best high alcohol brews I have tried.
Cheers
