12 oz bottle. Revisited in May 2025.
Aroma. Tangerine and strong vanilla dominate our mask other factors.
Flavor. The tangerine is on par with the vanilla here but the tangerine has to much resemblance to candy.
There's some added complexity from the bourbon barrel aging but the impact is less than expected.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a pint glass
This beer pours orange and has a slight haze to it. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves virtually no lacing.
It smells like tangerine and vanilla.
Tangerine upfront with vanilla creating a sweet flavor. The tangerine rears its head in the finish with some citrus tartness.
Medium bodied with a biting mouthfeel
Refreshing and tasty. It went down fast and easy. It would be great on a hot day.

From a 12oz bottle:
Nice bit of smoke upon opening the bottle. Golden amber pouring beer. Clear with some carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head that formed was 1 finger, white, but not long lasting at all. There's no lacing on the glass.
The nose reminds me of when I was a kid and drank soda pop. I liked cream sodas and this smells just like one. Creamy aroma, but I'm getting no barrel or tangerine at all. I do have to rate it down based on not getting those aromas.
The flavor is like the nose - a cream soda flavor. At least in the flavor I get a faint hint of tangerine. This flavor provides a bit of a bitterness that slightly balances out the sweetness. I am really not getting any barrel notes in this beer, and do have to wonder if it was actually barrel aged, and, if so, what was it aged in?
Very bubbly body, in spite of lack of head. Crisp feeling. Not light at all.
I am not sure about this. It doesn't taste bad, but I do think it's lacking in what it's promoted as. I do have to knock it down based on that.

Pours a copper color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of cream soda. Taste is sweet with floral and grain overtones.

Undated bottle; drank 7/12/23 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly see-through orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice eggshell head; no lacing remained.
Tangerine, creamy candy & mild wood notes in the nose. Smells...off.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Syrup-y / candy notes of tangerine & sweet cream; a hint of musty wood.
Sweet, yet...medicinal? Artificial? You can choke it down in a pinch, but it's borderline awful.
