Who said lagers couldn’t have fun with hops too? This Northeast style hoppy lager complements a light malt profile with a blend of American and German hops. Aromas of tangerine and pine preface hop flavours of stone fruits and citrus. This is our India Pale Lager.

Pours misty pale yellow with a large fluffy head and good lacing. Aromas of pineapple, toffee and grapefruit. Flavour of tropical fruit, caramel, significant fruity sweetness with a buttery edge that is really the only hint that this beer is lagered.

Poured from a 473 ml can.

A: clear amber with visible carbonation
S: floral and fruity, tropical
Tastes like an IPA with the crisper mouthfeel of a lager.

Serving Type: 473 mL Can

A- Pours a burnt orange colour topped by a soapy white 2 finger head with excellent retention. Heavy lacing.

S- Tropical fruit (Pineapple, Mango), grapefruit, caramel malt, slightly spicy.

T- This brew packs a big hop punch, as I anticipated from the smell. Much of the same only the herbal spiciness comes through a lot more. The fruity notes from before are still here, the malt does not appear to come through in the taste.

M- Medium Body and low-moderate carbonation.

O- When I read IPL, I was expecting much more of a Lager than what I found here. Lets just say that if one were to get this in a blind tasting, there's absolutely no indication anywhere that this is indeed a lager. It may have been brewed as a lager but this beer to me is a solid IPA in every way: Big hop flavour, big hop aroma, and a big body that keeps you coming back for more. Trust me in saying that if you love Hop Bombs for IPA's, look no further than this "IPL".

Pours a hazy orange with a great looking fluffy white head. Delivers on the promise of the text on the can with citrus and stone fruits, and a sweet malt character that makes the beer smell nice and juicy. The taste however, is a little disappointing, being dominated by a harsh astringency and grassy quality...especially in the finish. I can still taste some of the beer's potential underneath, which leads me to believe that this was some kind of unintended flaw. Overall, a beer with great potential that I might pick up again if they did another batch.

Pours a light orange, slightly hazy body with copious amounts of coarse head. The scent brings up a light touch of citrus rind, mango, peach, and passion fruit, without the harsh pungent notes other Spindrift products have. The taste has a lot of citric bitterness, with a light lager malt body and very clean crisp finish. This could be my new hot summer's day beer.
