Our Bavarian-style Pils is a brilliant golden coloured lager showcasing premium German ingredients. Soft aromatics of German Hersbrucker and Saaz hops leads to a malt flavour of light grains and a dry finish. Well balanced and refreshingly crisp, this is truly a lager for all occasions.

The Knotty buoy pilsner is really nice and I was surprise of this incredible taste.

The fruit are present and you can definitely taste the Saaz hop taste. Been brewing a couple of 10 gallon batch, Saaz hop is definitely a nice hop to use in any brew.

A real nice balance usage of hop and grain.

If you encounter this beer somewhere, just try it you won't be disappointed.

Clear gold with good head. Bready malt nose. Medium-light body with excellent crisp hop finish. Begs for another sip. Great Pils!

On tap in Lunenburg.
Standard appearance: golden body and white head. Fine lacing.
Exceptional mouthfeel: very smooth; well carbonated.

Overall: excellent for style.

Pours a clear straw coloured body with a fair bit of soapy head that rapidly dissipates to nothing. The scent comes up with some earthy, spicy hops, along with a light cereal malt backing. It also has a deep bitter/almost metallic note that comes through in a way similar to their coastal lager. The taste brings up some clean noble hops and a lot of bitterness, that follows long afterwards. The feel is altogether okay, though that bitterness does lead it to have some difficulties in drinking as is the case with coastal lager. I think this may be a brewers style type of thing as Spindrift seems to like those highly bitter properties reminiscent of some Scottish Ales. Overall it's a pretty decent pilsener, though one that doesn't quite suit the upcoming summer months.
