This was a SMASh IPA using Mosaic Hops and Pilsner malt. Really dank and great malt and yeast balance tastes with the hops. Definetly a good combo for a SMAsh beer.

Smash. I must have gotten a skunked four pack, as it was awful. Every can virtually exploded upon opening, I lost a quarter of the contents each time, and I couldn’t even drink the last one it was so sour. Way too fizzy and foamy to enjoy.

Enjoyed a pint of Live Action draft at Lucky Hare's Ithaca Press Bay Alley taproom yesterday, and liked it so much I had to bring some home canned. The pint can has a fine hare lofting a turtle: give this can, canned 11/04/21 a Top Score of 5 (for graphic design and clear canning date), tho the IPA inside pint poured in a Spiegelau IPA glass gets a 4, with only adequate lacing, a good hazy turbid SRM 2 on my beer color chart.
Smells fresh yeasty malty more than hoppy. Some grassy hay in there, nothing floral or fruity.
The aftertaste is even better than the initial taste: beautiful lasting dry bitter leaves my palate thankful that this IPA wasn't brewed for sissies who don't enjoy righteous bitterness. Carbonation and clean clear mouthfeel are excellent. This is my favorite Lucky Hare ale now! Hope they brew it again.

Aroma: I don't get much of anything. Maybe passionfruit and citrus.

Appearance: Slightly hazy, ultra pale yellow.

Taste: Passionfruit, stone fruit, citrus, not much pine.

Body, Texture: Sort of oily, but not really. Pretty clean and crisp.

Overall: A neat smash beer, but nothing too unique. Solid beer.

Transparent, slightly hazy straw color with a rocky white head. Great retention and lacing.

Smells of Mosaic hops. Honeydew melon, earth, diesel, dankness, grapefruit, pineapple, and lemon.

Nice pop of lemon, pineapple, yellow grapefruit zest and honeydew melon. Crisp cracker malt in the middle, with a hint of honey, bread crust, and hay. A bit of onion on the finish, some earth and grapefruit peel with negligible bitterness. Crisp, clean, and lightly dry.

Medium-light mouthfeel, well carbonated, slightly oily but lightly dry.

A really solid SMASH IPA. Great Mosaic character. I've had better, but this is still very good.
