Lucky Hare is my local brewery, I love pineapple and I love sours so I had to check this one out. I was hoping it would taste a little like the cocktail "Jungle Bird" which uses Campari and pineapple juice, but it's more sour than sweet.
I am no taste expert.
A tasty tart beer.
Looks a bit like pineapple juice. The smell is mostly sour beer with a bit of pineapple behind it - especially on the pour.
The pineapple is back there, but it is pretty subtle, I noticed it more toward the middle to bottom of the glass.
Light feel.
It's a nice sour even without the overpowering pineapple. Had to seek out the fruit on this one.
