Lil' Red is a kettle sour ale fermented with loads of raspberry puree. Slightly tart and crisp, Lil' Red bursts with fresh raspberry aroma and flavor. Maybe the perfect sour ale for boating, camping, or relaxing by the fire.

Canned 10/19/24. Found in the cooler at the Owego taproom two weeks ago, and maintained chilled since.
Slightly hazy orangey-pink, with one finger of quickly-dissipating white head.
Smell is the typical lactic sourness & "fresh" ocean breeze, plus some biscuity malt, and raspberry jam.
Taste is dried raspberry, slightly-doughy dinner roll, some other vague fruit flavor, and a touch of dry bread crust at the end. Light tartness.
Feel is light, with moderate very, very, very fine carbonation tingle. Very dry finish, that lingers awhile.
Nice, easy-drinking sour. Better than most of its type. This , a light raspberry sour, can often come off as Miller Lite + Kool-Aid. This avoids that pitfall. In the other direction, sometimes they are so loaded with fruit , that they seem a meal-in-a-glass , fruit smoothy with carbonation. Nice sometimes, but a bit much, if not in the mood. This still seems like beer. :)
