“Chrono 005 - Black Currant - The fifth in our series of fruited kettle sour ales, Chrono 005 jumps out of the can with bright shades of purple, and leaves with a tart, clean, fruit-forward finish.”
Pours an attractive ruby red with a trace of foam. Smells of berries, astringent. Tastes good with tart berries up front, wild cherries, faint sweetness but finishes dry. Mouthfeel is light and a little too watery. Overall is a crisp, tart sour that’s tasty but too light/watery, this lightness may be appreciated by some but I’m looking for a bit more presence.
