Hazy As DIPA showcases two of our favourite New Zealand hops; Nelson Sauvin and Rakau. Bold aromas of gooseberry and apricot lead to notes of citrus and passionfruit. This is one hell of a hefty brew.

Copenhagen 16/10 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. This looks like an UK issue but fits the name and ABV of this entry. Black can with green leaves.
Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin - almost transparent - but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of tropical fruit mingling with a more subdued citric scent. Mango, peach and blood orange. Grapefruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart sour bitterness. Aftertaste bitter with a light sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Fruity and well-balanced with a fine citric touch.
