Draft at the brewery, served in a small flute glass.
Dark brown with a thin layer of khaki foam and spotty lace.
Vanilla aroma comes through big, marshmallow, some chocolate and roast around the edges. Taste is similar, big vanilla, some tannic notes from the barrel. Light bodied and drinkable. Overall this was an interesting one, an imperial porter aged in a wine barrel.
