Draft at the brewery, served in a small flute glass.
Pale gold with a long lasting head of foam, drippy lace. Good clarity and rising carb trails visible.
Aroma is pungent and hoppy, some florals and greenery, nice and fresh.
Taste is clean and hoppy, the Maris Otter malt is smooth and light, vaguely bready. Resiny bitterness in the finish. Floral, fresh cut botanicals, white grapes, lightly bitter citrus peel. Interesting unique hop character, Zythos seems to have its own distinct flavors and aromas that are well suited to a SMaSH brew. Good stuff. Got a growler of this and we finished it easily that night.
