Pumpkin Pie Dream Ale

Celebrated the first full day of autumn by trying a delightful pumpkin pie flavored ale from a regional microbrewery, which arrived in a 16 oz can. It had a lovely hazy golden color with a generous fluffy head, though not much in the way of carbonation. There are clear notes of cinnamon and clove and maybe allspice in the aroma, less so in the taste, but it is not a heavy or clingy beer, nor is it particularly sweet. I didn’t pick up on the claimed vanilla taste. I am happy to support these local breweries and I commend this beer to fans of pumpkin spice drinks.
