The colour is deep yellow; the head is two finger thick, compact, uneven and bright white. It dissolves slowly into a fine lid with a lot of lacing.

The smell is stronger than I had expected. It got a fruity, almost roasted flavour with a touch of coffee and rye bread. There are also some hoppy notes.

The taste is malty with a salty touch, although it is very anonymous it got some mild roasted notes and some yeast. The aftertaste is malty and perhaps a bit sour with a not-so-strong bitterness.

The carbonation is milder than most lagers with very small bubbles, making it drinkable. As a Oktoberfest beer should be. But on the other hand, it tastes very much like all the other pale lagers from the former Pripps part of Carsberg Sverige.
