Copenhagen 11/4 2020. 44 cl can from Ølkassen. Pretty cool abstract painting on the can reminding me of free flowing electricity meeting something organic.
Pours hazy yellow with a pretty big, white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as frothy but thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light streak of sweet, exotic fruit and stronger citric notes. Sweet peach and pineapple. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense and a bit watery. Medium sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
Fantastic nose but a little thin in flavor. But then again they do mention aqua in the name of the beer.
