Copenhagen 20/9 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop, Torvehallerne, Kbh K. What looks like an extreme close up of a Bacteria culture on the can.
Pours hazy, milky, pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fresh, tart and medium intense. Tart Gooseberries, Citrus fruit, Lemon and Grape fruit. Lighter odor of sweet exotic fruit like Pineapple and Peach.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, kind of flat texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a distinct, somewhat stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Fresh Session IPA with a good intensity and an aggressive, bitter bite. Not much plastic there.
