Copenhagen 8/5 2020. 44 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. Bewildering patterne of dark and light green, red and blue on the can.

Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, but frothy layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a light odor of exotic fruit and stronger smell of citrus fruit and pine. Peach and pineapple. Soon overpowered by grape fruit and lime.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, smooth, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium sweet with a slightly more moderate, citric bitternes. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.

Well made NEIPA without any big surprises. Solid.

Pours a cloudy, deep golden amber coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with notes of pineapple and tangerine. Taste follows the nose, with a good balance of sweet'ish biscuity malt and slightly floral, tropical/citrus hops, with pineapple and tangerine standing out among lighter notes of papaya, lemongrass and some even lighter herbal, spicy accents. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some pineapple and tangerine lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This is pretty nice NEIPA that is dominated by sweet pineapple and slightly flowery tangerine notes, reminiscent of orange blossoms, which means that I would bet money on BRU-1 and Amarillo being a part of the hop bill here. Just a tad to sweet and flowery for my personal taste, while also feeling a bit one-dimensional, but still a pretty enjoyable and well-balanced brew at the end of the day, with a rather nice mouthfeel as well.
