Copenhagen 25/7 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like a Basquiat painting on the can.
Pours murky, slightly dirty brownish yellow with a small white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, spicy odor mingling with sharp citric notes. Peach and orange marmalade. Light whiff of ripe decay. Black pepper.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite on the malty side for an Indian Pale Ale with a distinct rye-vibe.
