Copenhagen 18/10 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. The can looks like an advertisement for the Olympic Games held in some Central Asian republic with a lot of red color and some golden banners with strange scripture on them.
Pours unclear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a citric scent. Sweet ple malts, lemon, citrus and lime. A bit sharp.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and fizzy texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
A fine citric pilsener with a touch of new world hops.
