Copenhagen 5/4 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of some red organic stuff with small transparent squares spread out in a random pattern.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. bit bubbly. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and juicy sweet scent of tropical fruit mingling with distinct citric notes. Peach, flowerbed, perfume. Grapefruit and lime. A bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Medium thin, soft, smooth, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
Nice, smooth and fairly bitter NEIPA.
