Copenhagen 26/2 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Blak can with musical Coda flying around in formations.
Pours opaquely murky, slightly dirty yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with citrus fruit and a little spiciness. Passion fruit sand peach. Licorice, pine and alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by an almost just as strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and citric.
Not especially pretty but a fine bitter specimen.
