Copenhagen 23/2 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like an abstract rendering of the blitz over London.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, lightly fermented odor of exotic fruit mingling with citric fumes. Peach and honey melon. Citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite gentle and fresh for a beer called “GO BANG”.
