Copenhagen 13/12 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A hand definitely in the slapping mood on the can.
Pours murky, dirty yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a light sweet malty odor mingling with more aggressive, citric scent. Quite acerbic and a bit sharp. Citrus and grape fruit. Mustard and alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong, fruity sweetness followed by a quite strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry with a light boozy burn.
Bitter and boozy enough to live up to its name.
