Hallertau Blanc brings out some serious wine vibes in this single-hopped IPA. You’ll pick up delicate notes of white grape, gooseberry, and even a bit of lemongrass. Crisp, aromatic, and refreshing, it’s the perfect beer for those who love their IPAs with a softer, more elegant hop profile. Think of it as a fresh twist on the classic IPA, with a bit more refinement.

Copenhagen 22/12 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Gamma’s usual single hop design in orange with a well hidden pattern.
Pours opaque, hazy yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet fruity scent mingling with a stronger tart, citric scent with a touch of sulphur. Peach and green grapes. Grapefruit and tart gooseberries. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sour twist. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Not unlike a dry, bitter white wine.
