Copenhagen 18/12 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Sketchy drawing - white lines on black background - of some kind of machinery.
Pours opaque dark brown with huge off-white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, toasted and malty odor mingling with a scent of citrus fruit. Toffee and dark roasted malts. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
More bitter than sweet but a tad watery.
