Copenhagen 22/9 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Gamma's usual design. This time with a splotchy painting in red, green and grey.
Pours opaque, hazy, dirty, golden yellow with small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, fruity odor with a hard, edge of alcohol mingling with a more subtle citric scent. Mango and sweet honey melon. Hints decay. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with boozy twang.
Potent DIPA who insist on calling itself a Triple IPA. A lot of booze and fruity, fermented fruit.
