Copenhagen 24/1 202. 44 cl can from Beerlivery web-shop. Gamma's usual design with an abstract painting of what could be fruit pottage - or some exotic bacteria culture.
Pours murky burgundy with a mid-sized pink head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet, ripe berries mingling with subtle tart notes. Raspberry, currants and blackberries. Milk and sugar. Tart sour berries.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is tart. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Sweet nose - and tart flavor. The best of two worlds.
