Copenhagen 29/2 2020. 44 cl can from Beerlivery Web-shop. Black can with some kind of golden grid on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big light beige head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam, struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense and balanced between a strong sweet malt base and some bitter spicy odor. Brown sugar, lightly roasted dark malts. Bitter chocolate, licorice, tobacco, arm sweat.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter ire a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Porter with a nice bitter and dry edge.
