Copenhagen 18/6 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Painting of what looks like a huge electric-blue spider web spanning the universe on the can.
Pours hazy, dirty yellow with a medium-sized, frothy white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a light sweet odor of lightly fermented exotic fruit and a stronger smell of citrus fruit dominating. Peach and mango. Grape fruit, citrus and pine.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed and balanced by a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is citric and dry.
Pretty light DIPA with good intensity at the samt time avoiding being overly boozy.
