"Endless Descent" is a baltic porter brewed collaboratively with the subversive mind behind Scorched Tundra metal festival in Gothenburg and Chicago. Malted Rye adds complexity to this rich, full bodied, nod to Scandinavia's most often imitated but never duplicated classic styles.

Copenhagen 11/11 2018. 33 cl bottle from Vinbørsen. Drawing of Fierce Underwater Monsters on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with small, light beige head. Settles as flimsy, thin layer of foam, unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is sweet and intense. Loaded with coffee and dark chocolate. Molasses, Cocoa and a very discrete but evident presence of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Thick, Soft, creamy texture with a light tingling from the carbonation.
Flavor has strong sweetness. Followed by mild bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for while. Light alcoholic burn.
Fine, sweet, dark and heavy porter. After this I am ready for bed.
