Copenhagen 6/5 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Burgundy - almost purple - version of Gamma's usual Single hop brand design for Just the One.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a paper thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with an odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a tart scent of acerbic citrus fruit. Sweet peach and a hint of mango. Citrus and lemon. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Zesty but enigmatic.
