Deepest black color with a thick dark caramel with eternal retention and leaving laces.
Nice aroma with predominating notes of dark chocolate, licorice, cocoa, espresso coffee and mild wood.
Flavor with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, toasted and roasted malts, lactic acid, cocoa, some citrusy, just a hint of charred wood and plums. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness. Balancing a bit towards sweet, but not overly so.
Creamy thick body with appropriate carbonation.
Positive surprise from Chile. Well executed Stout with bold mocha notes and a Britain feeling. Traditional and faithful to style. So far I liked all of their brews.
