However they call themselves a brewery, the actual brewing process is made by the German brewer "Privatbrauerei Wittingen".

"Gårdsbryggeri" means "Farm brewery". The barley is grown in the fields of the farm.

Karolina Johansson, the head of the company said in an interview: "We want to convince people that there is nothing odd about our beer. It's just lager."
