L:. Pours a dark brown Amber color with a small brown tan head and nice sticky brown lacing.
S: Nutty, with some peat, sweet caramel and toffee, a sweet malt presence, with a small floral hop.
T: Nutty, with some peat, sweet caramel and malt, a slightly bitter hop.
F:. Medium body, carbonation was a little low but it was poured out of a growler at a party so that might be to blame.
O:. a nice Scottish ale.

Pored from a crowler into new belgium globe
pours a deep garnet with a creamy of white head
Nose is malts, touch of carmel, bit of roast, and earthy hops
taste follows the nose, clean, no diacetyl, no phenols. Malt up front turns to pleasantly bitter earthy hops, good balance.
mouthfeel is medium, carbonation moderate.
Overall, well made beer that is easy to drink. There's nothing to think about or contemplate here, its an easy drinking brew that I can go back for again and again
