I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a slightly hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had mellow dank fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with subtle citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and piney hops. Tastes of piney and citrus hops, nice and strong. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pleasant surprise! I knew they did malty beers well but this is a delicious IPA (it's really a DIPA). This is in the vein of Union Jack, Stone IPA, and Pliny. Not quite as good but west coast in nature.

L- bright, clear light golden color. Great lacing.
S- this is where it shines. Resinous, citrus and a bit of pineapple.
T- Same profile as nose but not quite as powerful but still really enjoyable.
F- very drinkable but kind of slick from the 8%abv.
O- great west-coast IPA that might not blow you away but really stands on its own. Excellent!
