Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours deep red with a small off white head. Smells of nuts, caramelized grain, and some fruit notes. Tastes of some bright fruit with caramelized grain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

A: Beautiful crystal clearv reddish brown with a moderately lived off white head.
S: caramel, toffee, malty.
T: toffee, malty, with a moderate hop bitterness.
M: medium bodied.
O: a nice Irish red. Lives up well to the actual irish red style, as opposed to the American re-creation; cough, cough, Killians.
