This light and refreshing Canadian Pale Ale embodies everything that is Tuque de Broue. Light, clean and delicious, this beer for every occasion bursts with fruity aromas such as peach, apple, cedar and corn. Following on those notes, we have a refreshingly excellent flavour that is dry, and yet with just enough sweetness to keep a consumer wanting more. The finish of this beer recalls a clean winter day, where every Canadian can’t help but put on a tuque.

Look: Pale yellow, the colour of apple juice, slightly cloudy. Pours with a one finger head that is gone in a minute ridiculously poor retention.
Smell: Pears and apples. Dry grass and grapes.
Taste: Flat, apples and malt.
Feel: Flat and uninspiring. Grey note of bitter at the end.
This beer offers nothing of sustance and is very unremarkable. It earns a C -

Clear bright gold with a modest, fast-disappearing head. Light, fruity corn and cereal malts on the nose - no citrus? Light body, a little sourness. Reasonably crisp. Not an APA in my opinion and even lacking a bit as an American Blonde ale.

Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of light cereal and residual sugar with subtle fruity ester. Taste is a mix between light cereal notes with some residual sugar. Body is about average with some good carbonation. Not enough hops to truly qualify as an APA but maybe more of a middle of the road golden ale.

A light, quaffable pale ale. Out of the can it poured a surprisingly clear (filtered) pale gold colour, with a thin layer of head that dissipated quickly. I got notes of caramel, malt, wet straw, lemon scone/biscuit, and possibly some ripe yellow apple. Paired well with my dinner of rice and stir fried vegetables with soy and peanut sauce.

Poured from a 473ml can, no freshness info.
Clear pale gold body, cardboard malt in flavor but not much else. No sign of hops; this is a very boring and lifeless ale.
