Look: Ruddy brown with hints of yellow and red. Pours with a two finger head on aggressive pour. After 5 minutes the head has disappated leaving decent lacing.
Smell: Caramel, sugar, grass and plums on the nose.
Taste: Very metalic on the front end. Bitter, tangy and malty.
Feel: Light giving way to medium mouth feel. Slightly oily, stimulates the sides of the tongue. Definate bitter and metalic after taste.
I haven't been impressed with either of the beers I've tried from this brewery. This is a better offering than their pale ale, but that is a low bar. I give this a B-

Rusty red with a pink (?) edge somehow. Just a short-lived head, no lace. This is a really quiet beer on most fronts. Some little grain on the nose, a touch of malt. Bitter with a touch of metal on the palate. Indeterminate taste. Hops to finish, a touch of bitterness. Uninteresting, but inoffensive.
