16oz can poured into 12oz goblet. Poured a solid black color, with just a few bubbles of head, thus no retention or lace.
The aroma was all roast malts, and soft alcohol.
On the tongue, ya can really tell this is a malt likker! The alcohol takes forefront, with the roast providing a solid bass note.
The body is thin, but this is much drier than your typical mini-mart 40.
Drinkability is good, once ya get past that first sip. Overall, an interesting take on the style. You probably won't see this, but, if ya do, check it out.
