Copenhagen 20/4 2021. 47,3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. Drawing of the fat of a very pale, Alien-looking woman with hops growing in her hair on the can.

Pours slightly unclear, golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of tropical fruit. Citric notes. Caramel. Pineapple and mango. Grapefruit and lime.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.

The nose is a bit subdued but the powerful flavor compensates.

Quite Hazy amber orange color with a thick head with good retention and leaving a wall of laces.
Original aroma with notes of lychees, white pepper, tons of stone fruit and lemongrass.
Flavor with notes of lots of garlic, mango, lemongrass, white pepper, oranges, tea leaves, oats, yeast and stone fruit juice. Dry aftertaste with a friendly bitterness that vanishes quickly. Definitely it does not feel as 80 IBUs.
Medium to full velvety body with perfect carbonation. Alcohol of 8.3% is well hidden.
Very interesting DIPA with a Northeast accent and a mild bitterness with a myriad of spices on a tropical and green background.

Pours a cooper hazy body with a slightly amber head with good retention.
Citric hop bouquet with floral notes with some grass in it, the alcohol is present but not intrusive.
The mouthfeel is spicy and citric with a salty touch, low bitterness and low carbonated body.
The aftertaste is bitter and spicy.

This beer smells good, but the spicy taste without any bitterness is a huge let down. With more balance between bitter hops and spicy taste this beer could be great!
