Continuing our series, this version uses our favorite Mosaic hops with the New Zealand variety Wakatu and the new Slovenian Styrian Wolff. The result is a very floral, citrusy and fruity DIPA. With aromas of orange, grapefruit, lychee, stone fruit, mango and passion fruit.

Copenhagen 6/4 2021. 47,3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. On the an I am looking straight into the jaws of some kind of blue hippopotamus looking a bit unfriendly.
Pours opaque, murky, slightly dirty yellow with a mid-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with lighter citric notes. Perfumed mango, pineapple and papaya. Orange and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, creamy, nearly flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
Immensely juicy and fairly pleasant without being overly boozy.
