Taster at brewery. Copper colored pour, skin of head. Malty, hoppy aroma. Old school DIPA. Taste is caramel with woody, piney malts, sticky. Strong (for 8.0%).

Had a single draft at Idletyme Brewery in Stowe, Vermont for about seven dollars. My fourth brew from these guys. Decent brew, nothing special, would get again.

Slightly hazy gold, good had and decent lacing. Aroma is spicy grapefruit and piney hops. Flavor follows suit, although there is a slightly astringent bitterness. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry. A pretty good DIPA.

Can. Hazy orange copper with lasting head and lace. Juicy aroma with some orange rind. Sweet and very juicy with some toffee and slightly harsh citrus peel bitterness. Medium lively body. Pretty gross "juice bomb." Not sure I'll finish it.

This was poured into a snifter. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to ruddy yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer. The smell had some grapefruit sweetness with a decent grassy bitterness blending nicely. Light spicy musty/earthy hops balance. The taste was mainly the same as the smell. Lingering earthy sweet grapefruity/grassy aftertaste and a semi-dry sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light. Bitterness seems fairly thick. Overall, decent DIPA I might have again.
