Dark brown with Ruby tints decent lacing. Aroma is of caramel and chocolate with some earthy hops. Flavor follows suit, bitter upfront, dark chocolate and caramel. Mouthfeel is crisp and medium bodied. Pretty good.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a nice looking rugged dark brown close to black color. A finger’s worth of white foamy head stood atop of the beer. Mild stringy lace. The aroma starts with roasty coffee bean with some sweet oats and then subtle sweet cocoa bean. The flavor leans sweet slightly but yields nicely to the roasty portion underneath. Sly sweet and semi-sticky to nutty aftertaste rounding into its finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Smooth sweet texture. Overall, pretty good oatmeal stout that I would have again.

Look: Straight black. Very clean and refreshing looking. Very little head to this one. Looks extremely drinkable.
Smell: Getting chocolate, graham cracker, and vanilla. Very smooth inticing nose. Smells like very refreshing stout.
Taste: Wow. Super smooth. You'd almost think it was a nitro stout. Subtle coffee, chocolate, maybe a hint of vanilla on the end. Finish is extremely smooth. No bitterness whatsoever.
Feel: Medium-bodied.
Overall: Was surprised by this one. Solid oatmeal stout. Perfect for a winter's night. Would buy again. 8.5/10.
